Sanaa Bouchikhi is a Project Manager with the Economic Law and Policy Program with over eight years of experience providing support in international development, project management, research and analysis.
Prior to joining IISD, Sanaa worked with the World Bank Group in program management, data collection, research and analysis in Washington, DC and Morocco. Sanaa has worked on multiple international development projects, including the First Transparency and Accountability Development Policy Loans Project in Morocco, aimed at increasing transparency and accountability and enhancing citizen engagement and access to information, and the Economic Competitiveness Support Program for MENA, aimed at supporting policy reforms in the investment climate, trade policy and economic governance.
Sanaa acquired her master’s degree in public administration at the San Jose State University and Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs at the East Bay California State University. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in International Project Management from the University of Toronto. She is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
