How have North American communities been implementing the Sustainable Development Goals into their projects?? We hear first hand in this webinar on February 22, 2018.
How have North American communities been implementing the Sustainable Development Goals into their projects?
Cities are drivers of change and innovation, and they are important engines for progress toward the United Nations 2030 Agenda and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. Across North America, communities are becoming more aware of the importance of the SDGs and the notion that they are Global Goals—and that we all have a part to play.
IISD would like to invite you to participate in a conversation with three inspiring projects to discuss their experiences, thoughts and lessons learned with implementing SDG projects in their communities. The webinar will consist of three short presentations and a moderated panel discussion with Seema Iyer (Baltimore Neighborhood Indicators Alliance), Kusum Wijesekera (BCCIC’s SDG Scorecard Initiative), Celeste Connors (Hawai’i Green Growth Aloha+ Challenge) and Stefan Jungcurt (Winnipeg’s Peg Community Indicator System).
