Online Training Workshop for Cambodia: How can policy-makers leverage voluntary sustainability standards (VSS) for better agricultural practices?
The workshop will convene government agencies, private sector, farmers/producers, and development organizations in Cambodia to learn about and discuss voluntary sustainability standards (VSSs). Specifically, the event will focus on VSSs in the agricultural sector and the specific needs and interests of the stakeholders working across different sub-sectors in Cambodia.
This workshop will also present the main findings from IISD's recent research on sustainability standards, providing examples from Cambodia related commodities such as rice, timber, palm oil, and bananas.
