The WTO Fisheries Subsidies Agreement: Implications and support for implementation in Latin America
This workshop, organized by IISD and The Pew Charitable Trusts, was designed to complement the WTO workshop on fisheries subsidies for the Latin American region to explain the implications of the new WTO rules for Latin America and explore available tools and possible sources of support for the implementation of the Agreement. In particular, we presented the IISD self-assessment tool to support WTO members' efforts in the implementation of the new disciplines.
