Chris Hay

Scientific Data Officer, IISD-ELA

Chris Hay is the Scientific Data Officer for IISD Experimental Lakes Area.

Chris has advanced technical skills in Geographic Information Systems and its related disciplines, including cartography, programming, and data management. This complements his background in biodiversity conservation, which included fieldwork conducting vegetation inventories and database work with species records.

He holds a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Manitoba.
