Jonelle René Jones

Jonelle René Jones is a freelance consultant and owner of the firm NRM Solutions who works on various aspects of environmental management for a range of organisations and agencies at the national, regional and international levels. She has a European Joint Masters in Water and Coastal Management that was offered by several European Universities as well as professional-level certifications in technical areas related to water quality and chemicals and waste management. Jonelle previously worked at the Basel Convention Regional Centre for Training and Technology Transfer for the Caribbean Region (BCRC-Caribbean), where she was the lead technical personnel for the development and roll-out of it's regional technical assistance programme in support of country implementation of and compliance with the Basel Convention and other MEAs of the chemicals and waste focal area (i.e. the Rotterdam, Stockholm and Minamata Conventions.
