Laura Russo has worked with FAO of the UN in various roles from 1990 to 2008, in the fields of international forestry, environment and development. She is now a freelance consultant. She has degrees in agricultural science, tropical and sub-tropical forestry, watershed management and applied environmental economics. She is a trained facilitator. She speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. She lives in Rome.
