Matthew Sommerville is a Ph.D. candidate at Imperial College London examining the theory and implementation of payments for ecosystem services in Madagascar. Matt has coordinated scientific research for a marine conservation NGO, and directed a small international school in Switzerland. He is interested in science communication to individuals of all ages, especially to his year old son. He has an MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford and an BA in biology from Middlebury College, VT.
