Yanne Horas is an associate with IISD’s Economic Law and Policy program, working on sovereign debt issues as part of the Tax and Sovereign Debt Sub-program.
Yanne is a researcher and advisor with over a decade of experience working across Africa, Europe, and Latin America on fiscal, regulatory, and policy issues. She specializes in economic, market, and institutional analysis and is interested in exploring debt dynamics, macroeconomic trends, and the implications of financial crises. In her writing, she combines political economy with a perspective on modern history and aesthetic theory.
Yanne holds a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and is a lecturer at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, where her focus is international economics and capital flows.
Based in Berlin and Buenos Aires, Yanne is fluent in English, French, German, and Spanish.
