Yulia Yamineva

Yulia Yamineva is postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Climate, Energy and Environmental Law of the University of Eastern Finland. In the past, she worked for the Secretariat of the UN Convention on Climate Change (climate finance), private sector (safeguard policies of international financing institutions) and a number of academic bodies, including Stanford University. She regularly serves as a consultant on international climate and environmental law and policy for UN agencies and thinktanks. Yulia holds a Ph.D. in International Studies and an M.Phil. in Environmental Policy from the University of Cambridge, and a Law degree from South Ural State University in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
